Science has expedited to the zenith and the universe is aimed to be overpowered by handful of developed countries by dint of classy inventions and discoveries. Not that the warfare, but welfare is now doable only because of the up-to-the-minute scientific ventures and explorations. Man is traveling around the mysteries of the wonderful creation of God. Our country is not far behind in the race. But complacency may make us cripple. The involvement of KIIT in the effort to facilitate study, research and development in every branch of science is appreciated and applauded by one all throughout the state. Congrats KIIT ! This deemed university could double the esteem of Odisha province in international arena and also could launch a milieu of knowledge on our soil by staging the grand occasion i.e. the 99th Science Congress. Yesterday’s observation was the child scientists’ congress and the centre of attraction was none other than the great Kalam, Missile Man APJ Abdul Kalam. Bharat Ratna Kalam is better known in abroad as a pioneer of missile technology, than the formerly First Citizen of India. Perhaps the noblest and most statesman like step, taken by Atal ji during his Prime Minister ship was to chose this greatest scientist and educationist of modern India for the highest office of the republic. Child scientists were seen cheering the ex President from the core of their heart, when Dr. Kalam was reciting ‘ I will fly….’. Dr. Kalam will be regarded for ever as one of the greatest contributor not only to the field of science, but to the socio economic development of our country also.
